about 2 years ago when i first joined the super-eleeto ircwar group 'warlords' i undertook the project of creating the official mirc script.  (for those of you who hate mirc, theres more good news up ahead, so keep reading)  im no longer part of wrl, and the script(AFAIK) has no official connections with the group.

What I Want;

    what i want is simple.  i want sounds, i want graphics, i want addons, i want my buggy code fixed, i want stuff that can be streamlined into the current interface without harming the original functionality of the script.  if you look at the script and the code, youll be able to figure out the theme of it, and hopefully produce some pretty cool stuff

What I Dont Want;

    i dont want trojans.  i dont want backdoors.  i hate that shit.  i dont want eleet  techo music.  i REALLY dont want a game of battleship built in.  i dont want dcc bots.

    okay.  i want the socks clones fixed.  i want a telnet client built in.  i want an ftp client built in.  if its possible, id kinda like an ssh client built in.  and(dare i dream) a browser.  i would also like for optional webupdates.  now i know i sound like an asshole here, demanding shit.  im not making you do all of the work here.  submit your modifications to me via email.  i will look them over, edit them, streamline them into the interface, and credit you for it.  thats not so bad is it ? :)

great!  how do i start ?

    easy.  download the "source" code(setup.exe) and play with the code.  dont send me back my original stuff, thats too confusing.  instead, if you are working on an addition, just send your original code and ill add it to the package.  if you are making corrections, send me a detailed explanation of the problem and how to fix it, and i will do so.  yes, you will still be credited.

what license are you using ?

    call me a bandwagon jumper, but im using GPL.  if you want more info, do a we search for it.  sorry but i dont have a link :(

why are you doing this ?

    because i dont have time to do it myself any more.  im starting my own business, trying to keep shit straight at my current job, and spend time with my girlfriend.  i just cant workon it as much as id like any more.  thats why the opensource idea works for me :)  people have asked me why i stopped releasing new versions, and ask when ill start again.  i would hate to let loyal users down.

wrl sucks, i hate ircwar groups!

    this is no longer connected to the ircwar group.  in fact, im considering changing the name.  the colour scheme and such would stay the same, just a simple name change.  if you have any ideas for the new name, let me know.  but ill warn you now that im seriously considering 'entropy' at the moment.
